Massard Road Trail

Massard Road and Jackson Street

Massard Road North Trail begins at Jackson Street near Phoenix Avenue and the bikeway on Massard Road and extends south to Zero Street Trail and Massard Road South Trail.  This trail contains 1.4 miles of existing paved trail.  This trail is at the east end of Airport property and passes by the Fort Smith Dog Park.

You can continue south on Massard Road on the extra wide sidewalk on the east side of the road and join the Chad Colley Walking Trail at the southern most end of Massard Road.  The Ben Geren Trail also intersects on this section of Massard Road.

Take a little side trip to the Janet Huckabee Nature Center and hook up with the Fort Chaffee Walking Trail.

The goal of this master planning endeavor is to facilitate the actual construction of as many trails and greenways in Fort Smith as possible.

We want to ensure those corridors are safe and located where they are needed and will be used, and also connect the major destinations within the city.
